Il Trekking del Paradiso: Le Faggete di San Fele

On Sunday 11th at 10 a.m., appointment with "The Trekking of Paradise: The Beechwoods of San Fele". If, with this heat, you are looking for a corner of paradise in Italy, you absolutely must participate in our trekking on Sunday 11th to discover with us the Waterfalls of the village of San Fele, in the province of Potenza. In this beautiful little town in southern Italy, there are the spectacular Waterfalls of San Fele, created along the Bradano Stream that flows from the Lucanian Apennines. A wonder of nature that offers a breathtaking scenery. The route will start from the San Fele fountains trail from Acquafredda to Nitti pool with a loop circuit.
Final visit to the Caseificio Pierri cheesery 2 km away from the endpoint.
At the end of the tour, participants will be accompanied by the guide to the Twin Waterfalls.

EQUIPMENT AND TIPS:
• Type: E+ Duration: about 6/7 hours. Covered distance: about 10 km in a loop
• Hiking level, with 600 meters of uphill and downhill elevation up to the snow fields in the ancient beechwoods. Entirely shaded route
• Meet at 09:45. After the activity registration procedures, the complete group gathering will proceed with the excursion.
• The excursion covers a route of about 10 km, mainly winding through the forest
• Sunscreen
• Hat and sunglasses
• Lightweight technical layered clothing. Mandatory spare clothing including sandals and shorts, comfortable trekking shoes or sneakers for water (about 1.5 liters).

• Packed breakfast snacks, unsalted nuts, dried fruit, etc.
