The authors - Luca Cicolella and Igor Chierici began working together in 2011 under the direction of Jurij Ferrini for the "Compagnia Progetto URT". In 2016, thanks to the support of the Municipality of Genoa and Porto Antico Spa, they debuted with "The Legend of 1900", the first event of what would become the "Sea Stories Festival", an annual summer series that promoted the Barge Island of the Porto Antico as a theatrical venue, attracting enthusiasts and people fond of the city and its port. This reputation allowed the duo to participate in the "Theatrical Festival of Borgio Verezzi" - which they won in 2018 with "Moby Dick" - and the "Cervo Festival". In subsequent years, they added to their repertoire ancient and modern classical texts, such as "The Cosmicomics" by Italo Calvino, staged at the National Theater of Genoa in 2020, "Showtime" of 2022, and Goldoni's "The Lovers" in 2024. In May 2022, still at the National Theater of Genoa, they played Oberon and Puck in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" directed by Sandro Baldacci. In 2024, they received great critical and public acclaim with "Hamlet, King of Denmark", a site-specific performance for the Diocesan Museum of Genoa, funded by the Municipality.
