Il Pio Monte della Misericordia presenta Diary
Art & photography
**The Pio Monte della Misericordia presents “Diary”**, an exhibition of works from the photography workshop led by Yvonne De Rosa.
A historical institution that looks to the future and invests in new generations. The **Pio Monte della Misericordia**, through the Pio Monte ETS Foundation, initiates a series of initiatives dedicated to artistic languages as tools for growth, expression, and inclusion for young people. The first project is a path of education in image and photography guided by photographer and artistic director Yvonne De Rosa.
The exhibition, titled *“Diary”*, will be inaugurated on **March 1, 2026, at 11:30 AM** at Magazzini Fotografici (Via S. Giovanni in Porta, 32 – Naples) and will be open for visits until **March 13, 2026**.
The works will subsequently be hosted in the spaces of the **Pio Monte della Misericordia**, on the historic staircase of the complex.
The Pio Monte ETS Foundation, established in 2024, stems from the experience of the Pio Monte della Misericordia Association, which has been operating in Naples since 1602 to support the most vulnerable people socially, educationally, and economically. Today, the Foundation develops projects aimed at combating educational inequalities and promoting paths of growth and autonomy through culture and beauty.
*Diary* represents the final product of the workshop: a mosaic of voices and experiences, a collective diary that reflects the image of a plural Naples. The photographs depict neighborhoods, relationships, and growth paths, intertwining personal experiences and different perspectives in a shared narrative of the present.
Photographs and collages alternate as visual fragments that construct an emotional map of the city, where individual experiences become a collective story. The project presents itself as a living and open archive, capable of providing an authentic look at the social and cultural transformations of the territory.
The initiative is conceived and promoted by the Pio Monte ETS Foundation and realized in collaboration with Magazzini Fotografici, an independent space founded and directed by Yvonne De Rosa, active in Naples in the dissemination of visual culture and the training of new authors.
The workshop inaugurates a series of artistic interventions promoted by the Foundation, including a theater workshop led by director Carlo Cerciello, artistic director of the Teatro Elicantropo in Naples, and the project “Art Revealed,” which uses the heritage of Pio Monte as an educational tool.
A project that unites art, education, and community, returning to the city new images, new stories, and new possibilities.
