"Cultura a Colori" festeggia i suoi dieci anni al TIN
Cultural
An important milestone has been reached by the editorial team of “Cultura a Colori,” a national newspaper that on Sunday, April 12 at 11:00 AM will celebrate its first ten years at the Teatro Instabile di Napoli (TIN), located at Vico del Fico al Purgatorio 38, with the official presentation of the new printed issue – the eighth – and the “Donna è mille culure” award, now in its fourth edition, dedicated to those who contribute daily to making society more just and aware. This year, the award will be given to the publishing house Armando De Nigris Editore for supporting and publishing a symbolic project such as “Meridiane. Storie ritrovate del Sud,” to Dr. Alessandra Borghese for her commitment to health, and to the Napoli Women’s team for their sporting and social value in the promotion of women's football. Inspired by the song "Napule è" by Pino Daniele, where the lyric “Napule è mille culure” becomes a symbol of the complexities, contradictions, and human and cultural richness of the city. Entry is open to the public. Info: info@teatroinstabilenapoli.it; 331.3532137.
“In these years, we have told stories, given a voice to those who do not have one, built a vigilant and participatory community in the spirit of shared work, carried on even during the pandemic. This Volume 8, which narrates the complexity of our time through a plurality of voices, is proof that culture persists, evolves, and continues to create value,” says director Sonia Sodano, who writes the editorial, which focuses on the environment as a global urgency, weaving together data and reflections in a narrative that calls for collective responsibility. A guiding thread that is also reflected in the visual choice of the cover, where color becomes a symbol of the fragile beauty of our planet.
Other themes in this issue, which features numerous editorial realities, stand out for their strong editorial identity, aesthetic care, and a broad and articulated narrative of the present that encompasses art, politics, theater and performance, sports, and fashion, with various in-depth studies including the return of Caravaggio's "The Martyrdom of Saint Ursula" to the Gallerie d’Italia, curated by Roberta D’Agostino, geopolitical analyses on new global balances by journalist Daniele Naddei, and attention to Made in Italy, represented by excellence such as the goldsmith art of Gerardo Sacco, interviewed by Adele Monaco, who transforms tradition and identity into narrative. The section dedicated to women is particularly significant, featuring the project “Meridiane. Storie ritrovate del Sud” and insights on the female figure in contemporary theater, curated by Tania Sabatino, in line with the magazine's commitment to giving voice to often marginalized stories.
