The Accademia di Santa Sofia of Benevento represents one of the most prestigious and appreciated cultural realities in the Italian territory, a place where music is not simply performed but becomes an integral part of the Academy’s very identity, going far beyond simple artistic programming.
Its strength lies in the constant and continuous pursuit of artistic excellence and in the ability to establish a deep and engaging relationship with the audience. Thanks to this approach, the Academy brings artists and programs to Italy and abroad that know how to combine tradition and modernity.
“Ponti Sonori” is one of the projects of the Accademia di Santa Sofia, an ambitious initiative that proposes international musical journeys with the aim of connecting different cities and cultures through the universal language of music.
The project calendar includes stops in Italy - Benevento, Caserta, Cervinara, and San Martino Valle Caudina - and abroad, with destinations such as Montenegro, Finland, Hungary, Poland, USA, and Romania.
Each stop will offer significant musical programs, acting as a true cultural bridge between Italy and the rest of the world.
It is a project that highlights musical heritage through international cultural exchange but also helps young musicians to become known.
The concerts fully reflect the artistic mission of the Accademia di Santa Sofia, always committed to seeking deep emotional involvement, offering the audience moments of care and beauty in an era when music risks being consumed too quickly.
