The iconic Franco-British experimental group **Stereolab** returns to Italy for an unmissable summer event. On June 10, they will perform at the Este Castle as part of Ferrara Under the Stars, to present their latest album, which is set to be released soon. A quintessential emblem of unconventionality, Stereolab is considered a cornerstone of the 1990s music scene. Pioneers of innovation, originality, and authenticity, their style oscillates between a deep and evocative nostalgia for the musical macrocosm of the past and a dynamic and fervent desire to anticipate the future. Emerging from indie-rock, they have distinguished themselves with their avant-garde vision that has led them to deconstruct the genre by weaving it together and intertwining it with sounds that had been largely overlooked until that point. A precisely calibrated blend where elements of pop, bossa nova, and numerous references to the electronic world and art rock peek through.

**Laura Agnusdei** is a saxophonist and electronic musician from Bologna. Her solo project explores the possibilities of electroacoustic composition, creating soundscapes in which the sax remains the main narrative voice. Suspended between melodic use and timbre exploration, remnants of song form and improvisational insights, her music amalgamates various sound sources. Her new album will be released in January 2025 by Maple Death Records, and will be performed live in a trio with percussionist Edoardo Grisogani (Tetuan, Abovethetree) and trumpeter Jacopo Buda.
