After the successful performance of 2023,
Traindeville return to the
Ottobrata Monticiana to present the new album "Racconti Romani" to be released in October 2024, inspired by that evening. On stage with the band, comedian and writer
Paolo Pesce Nanna will present his hilarious monologues, telling the story of a city in constant evolution with all its bright and dark sides and funny characters. The audience will appreciate original songs and evergreens from the Roman tradition, in an original form of "Roman-style" musical show.
Traindeville
A metropolitan train touching the most colorful stations of ethnic music, from indie folk to the Balkans, from Rome to Latin America passing through klezmer, on the wings of rhythm and playfulness.
The duo has traveled the streets of Italy, the USA, Germany, Poland, and India, gathering joy and participation everywhere and organizing music workshops with children from orphanages and Indian schools.
The band's journey through Memory of
Ludovica Valori and
Paolo Camerini led them to be guests at the official Ceremony for the Day of Remembrance 2020 at the Quirinale, where their interpretations of klezmer and Yiddish songs were highly appreciated by President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella. On the occasion of the Day of Remembrance 2022, the music video of Ludovica Valori's song "Roma città Persa" performed by the duo in a new version was premiered on Repubblica Roma and presented with a live mini-show on TV2000.
In Rome, the duo performed at numerous summer events, comedy nights, dances, and poetry evenings, markets, book presentations, and art exhibitions, as well as many other street and festival situations. The duo's members come from various musical experiences, from the historical gypsy-folk-rock formation Nuove Tribù Zulu to the Roman tradition reworked by Ardecore and BandaJorona, to the klezmer of Dragan Trio, the lively brass of the street band Titubanda, and collaborations with actors, jugglers, and dancers: paths that have often intersected, creating new sounds and fascinating narrative suggestions.
Since 2023, the duo features the guitarist
Fabio Gammone (Avast, Filuccio e fattacci).
Paolo Pesce Nanna

With four books to his name, he was recently awarded Best Leading Actor in the theatrical festival of Monte Compatri with the comedy "Lei, Lui….Loro," and for his commitment to social issues, he was named Human Rights Defender 2023.
L'Ottobrata Monticiana
Local associations have come together to rediscover a healthy sense of participation; coming together for the "Rione Monti" festival, to consolidate the sense of good neighborhood and residents of the area, vital for the social fabric. Recovering unity, sharing, participation, and embrace.
Festivals, since ancient times, have been reasons for social gatherings, and that is what we are interested in. Considering the current situation of the strong crisis that has led to a new war between peoples, for the biennial project Ottobrata Monticiana 2023-24, the organizers have decided to expand the embrace to everyone: union among peoples will therefore be the theme of these new editions.
The aim is to enhance our cultural identities with a look to the past but also the present, to tradition but also innovation, with a spirit of integration, hospitality, and sustainability. In this way, the two years of programming will also become a reason for cohesion among the various realities of the area.
The festival is designed as a widespread event throughout the area, with a focal point in “piazzetta,” or the square of Madonna dei Monti. Most of the artistic performances will take place in the square.
Over the three days of Ottobrata, the neighborhood will be animated by exhibitions, performances, workshops, guided tours, and shows, as well as the traditional lottery.
In addition to the performances in the square, there will be events spread throughout the neighborhood, art exhibitions, performances, guided tours, treasure hunts for children, and a mini-marathon dedicated to the youngest.
Along the streets, there will be singing and dancing performances related to the Monticiana festival. Among these, there will be the usual tribute to Ettore Petrolini, who lived on via Baccina.
On stage, there will be singers, songwriters, actors, poets, writers, institutions, artisans, merchants, restaurant owners, and Monticians. It will be a moment of celebration but also an opportunity to reflect, to listen to memories, and to think about the future.
All residents and those who work in the neighborhood are called to participate in the spirit of sharing, to rediscover that healthy sense of conviviality and good neighborliness.
Culture, arts and crafts, settlement techniques, trades, and above all, food customs and traditions tell the story of humanity in its evolution. During the event, you can taste typical Roman dishes at local restaurants, dishes from ethnic restaurants now integrated into the area, and also fusion cuisine that combines multiple culinary traditions.
