A special evening with many guests and artists to present the new schedule of Radio Città Aperta for the 2024-2025 season. The speakers of the historic Roman radio station will present their programs to the public for the new season, and on the stage of the venue - now a consolidated reality of Roman underground scene - interesting bands from the Roman scene will alternate: Napstamind, Le Nozze Chimiche, and Mattia Rame, as well as other surprise guests and a DJ set by Gianluca Polverari, from Radio Città Aperta.
Napstamind
Michele Cipollini (guitar and vocals), Lorenzo Colombo (bass and vocals), and Michelangelo Rupolo (drums and vocals) are three young musicians who met at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome. With a sound that mixes alternative rock influences and psychedelic tones, their album "Nel giardino a vapore" is a musical journey through the emotions and experiences that characterize contemporary urban life. A massive and impactful sound, with great use of effects and distortions, fuzz, and rivers of reverb. For their release, the band performed a presentation concert at the Casa del Jazz in Rome, and from October 30 they will be touring the East Coast of the United States: their first concert is scheduled for October 30 at the Rockwood Music Hall in New York.

Le Nozze Chimiche
The new musical project by Giuseppe Chimenti is realized with the collaboration of Fabrizio Massara, former keyboardist and arranger of Baustelle, in the role of artistic producer. Chimenti, a Roman songwriter of Calabrian origin, embarks on a new artistic adventure, following his long discographic experience under the name Modì. A project that merges and reassembles the singer-songwriter genre with electronic sounds, crossing sonic territories ranging from electropop to kraut pedals, from breaths of cosmic air to twang melancholy. The debut album, entitled 5, tells in an introspective key the author's journey, both physical and metaphorical. A world made of trains, ships, and seas, along the coast and through railway stations, powerful metaphors for life experiences. The heart explodes in intense and passionate relationships, a source of joy but also deep pain. And as the seasons pass quickly, we reflect on our paths and the inevitable changes in life.

Mattia Rame
Released in January 2024 in digital format and accompanied on the radio by the new single and music video "I Ghiacciai", "Lo Spazio, l’Egitto, Battiato", produced by Alessandro Giovannini (White Rock Studio) for Gallia Music, is the first album by Roman singer-songwriter Mattia Rame, a collection of songs that blend poetic introspections with bold experimental sounds. The entire album, with its diversity of tones and atmospheres, offers a deep immersion into the artist's soul. Through love anthems and tributes to iconic figures like Marilyn Monroe and Frida Kahlo, Mattia Rame tells stories of love and change with literary suggestions that transport the listener on a conceptual journey. "Lo Spazio, l'Egitto, Battiato" stands out for its eccentricity, incorporating electronic elements, rock sounds, poetic and musical quotations in a work that reflects the artist's essence: reflections on reading, love, loneliness, and the search for identity between cosmic and internal collapses.
