Dead Visions con Francesco Mandelli de "I Soliti Idioti" live concert

The band of **Francesco Mandelli**, a well-known actor, screenwriter, director, writer, and radio and TV host ("The Usual Idiots," Radio Deejay, MTV Days...), lands in the Capital. Having already engaged with music several times, from **Orange** to collaboration with Adam Green, in 2018 Mandelli decided to join as a singer in the line-up of **Dead Visions**, which consists of Cesar P. Bigelow (Not Right), Federico Giammattei (Tuesday’s Cockroaches), Carlo Alberto Maria Rossi (Seed’n’Feed) and Sergio Innocenti (Los Dragos), on the two guitars, bass, and drums, respectively. With this lineup, the band recorded their debut album, "A Sea Of Troubles," released in May 2020 for Slimer Records, recorded live on tape and mixed by Alberto Ferrari of Verdena at Henhouse Studio, produced by Iacopo Bigagli and mastered by Gianni Peri. In 2021, Iacopo himself joined the band to replace the departing Cesar on guitar, thus evolving the band's sound in new directions. In 2022, they released a single titled "A Matter of Time," again for Slimer Records. In January 2025, after releasing the singles "Don't Run" and "Take My Hand" at the end of 2024, they are on tour, organized by **Altini Cose**. The Rome event will see them perform on the stage of **RCCB Init**, a well-established presence in the capital's underground music scene.

**Mymovies** writes: “Francesco Mandelli started in the **MTV** workshop, with **Andrea Pezzi**, **Gip**, and **Fabrizio Biggio**, with whom he then made the 'big leap' with the show 'The Usual Idiots,' which, according to many critics, is the Italian version of the more famous comedy sketch 'Little Britain.' The 2000s have given us many good and new actors, but perhaps Francesco Mandelli is one of the most socially satirical and mocking comedians of our time.”
