Emanuele Colandrea | Uno Tour

ONE is the unwritten rule with which the album was conceived. It is the number of instinct, of "first take,” of one day at a time, one hour at a time, one song at a time, one moment at a time – says Emanuele Colandrea. I like to think of it as "one in case" rather than "one at random," "one among many" rather than "one of many."

I started recording by deciding in advance that each track wouldn't be thought about or worked on for more than one day, and that the guitar and vocal takes would be recorded live, simultaneously, a single track without time references, without the pursuit of perfection, without ifs and buts.

To start anew, you begin from Zero, but to start over, you begin from One.

Emanuele's artistic journey is already very solid, built over the years with albums and stages. In this latest work, as a solitary explorer and traveler, Colandrea delves into folk territories, even international ones, influenced by the music he has absorbed and made his own, more in attitude than in actual sound, to deliver 13 tracks that hold together well, homogeneously, immediately giving the idea of an album and not just a collection of songs, and above all, once again confirming his remarkable ability to write beautiful songs.

Emanuele Colandrea, singer and songwriter, for brevity and laziness called a singer-songwriter, is originally from the province of Latina. His first solo publication titled "Ritrattati" was released in March 2015, a collection of reimagined songs (plus 3 new tracks) from "Cappello a Cilindro" and "Eva Mon Amour," bands for which he was the author, guitarist, and singer. In December 2015, the EP of unreleased tracks “Canzoni dalla fine dell’anno” was released, featuring songs written in the last days of recent years, an EP that preceded the release (in March 2016) of the album/story "Un giorno di vento," which has a narrative part (the story itself) and one made of songs that tell the tales of the characters in the story. In December 2017, "Ritrattati Deluxe," a reissue of the first publication enriched with 3 more reimagined songs and 1 new track, was released. In March 2020, the EP "I miei amici immaginari" was released, recorded during the well-known lockdown, a small concept about imaginary friendship featuring real friends (Galoni, Roberto Angelini, and Lucio Leoni). In March 2022, his latest publication "Belli dritti sulla schiena" came out, an album produced in collaboration with Pier Cortese. "Uno" is the new album, set to be released on April 1, 2025.

The album will be presented with an extensive tour, starting from Brindisi on Friday, April 4.
