GalleriaStudioCiCo is pleased to announce the opening of the international group exhibition TRIBUTE TO PICASSO, which will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 12:00 PM at its premises on Via Gallese 8, Rome.
The exhibition will be presented by art critic Prof. Piero Zanetov and curated by painter and curator Cinzia Cotellessa, and will remain open to the public until May 11, from Monday to Saturday, excluding holidays, from 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
With this group exhibition, GalleriaStudioCiCo aims to pay tribute to one of the most influential and revolutionary figures in 20th-century art: Pablo Picasso. An artist who, with his relentless research and innovation, created a profound break in the history of modern art, influencing generations of artists up to the present day.
TRIBUTE TO PICASSO brings together the works of twelve contemporary artists who, through different mediums—painting, sculpture, and installation—offer a personal and intimate reinterpretation of Picasso's artistic legacy. An emotional dialogue that becomes a message, a bridge between past and present, between memory and future.
The exhibition aims to be a moment of reflection on the role of art today: emotion, feeling, communication, and memory. In a world that moves quickly and often forgets, this exhibition invites viewers to pause, to look, to feel.
Artists featured in the exhibition are Claudio Alicandri, Franco Bacci, Dalma Cimino, Cinzia Cotellessa, Federica Frati, Luigi Giambitto, Assunta Improta, Barbara Maresti, Ruggero Marino, Filomena Petrucci, Germana Ponti, Serena Rapanotti, Donatella Ricci Piccirilli, Filippo Romagnoli, Liliana Sarrocco, and Giancarlo Valdinoci.
An intense and varied exhibition, where each work becomes an echo of Picasso's creative power, yet also a unique and original expression of the artist who created it.
Free entry.
