**Captain Desperta Visits a Village Under Siege by a Flea on a Crocodile's Head**

**Growing is a Show - II Edition**

The Cultural Center Talia is bringing back to the Tor Bella Monaca Theater the second edition of the project 'Growing is a Show'. This event, supported by the Ministry of Culture and winner of the Public Notice 'Live Show Outside the Center' promoted by Roma Capitale, offers free entry for school matinées and for local families, with particular attention to day centers for the disabled and elderly, adult training centers, youth gathering centers, and all entities of the VI Municipality. A new feature of this edition will be the inclusion of post-show workshops and collateral activities to engage participants and teach them the basics of theater.

Captain Desperta, a traveling actor of the Commedia dell'Arte, visits a village overshadowed by a tower and held in check by a flea, which lives on the head of a crocodile and benefits from generous offerings from the helpless and resigned population. With the help of a baker, Desperta discovers that the rightful village chief, now replaced by a friend of the crocodile, is sleeping a magical sleep at the top of the tower and that, in the past, the only one who opposed this strange tyranny was a falcon of which no one has heard since. Desperta and the baker will strive to clarify matters and free the village, but only with the help of the inhabitants can they succeed in this feat.
The absence of solidarity is like a parasite, creeping silently and needing us to survive! The behavior of the flea will prompt our young audience to reflect on the importance of the basic rules of civil coexistence and respect for others.
At the end of the school performance, a civics lectio magistralis is planned to address the following topics: solidarity; respect for others; compliance with rules and civil coexistence; sense of responsibility and equality.
