Omaggio a Gabriella Ferri: Traindeville live concert

The band of **Ludovica Valori** (vocals, accordion, trombone) and **Paolo Camerini** (double bass) with **Fabio Gammone** on guitar will participate on Saturday, July 5th, in the “Per Sempre Gabriella Ferri Festival” organized by the association **Musicultura**: four evenings to celebrate Roman culture in all its forms.

Ferri was not only an unforgettable voice but a symbolic figure of authentic Roman culture, capable of embracing melancholy as well as joy, the sacred as well as the profane, the ancient and the modern. She is credited with the revival of Roman folklore in the 1970s: her unforgettable and tormented journey continues to inspire many artists from the capital.

A walk in the ancient heart of Corchiano will transform, during the days of the festival, into a journey through stone alleys, panoramic views of the tufa gorge, and architectures that will unite music, history, territory, and cultural identity in a magical atmosphere.

Meet **Traindeville** on the evening of Saturday, July 5th, in the enchanting village of Viterbo, chosen as a "buen retiro" by Ferri: an evening of songs and "Roman Tales" from the group's eponymous album, released in 2024, which includes a series of classics like “Cento campane” - one of the most famous songs in the repertoire of **Lando Fiorini** - as well as original tracks like “Bolero alla Romana” composed by Ludovica Valori and two tributes to **Ettore Petrolini**, the legendary actor, singer, and fine storyteller from Monti, with “Fiore de gioventù,” performed in the blues arrangement created in 2005 by **Ardecore** – a band instrumental in reviving Roman folk – and “Tanto pe' cantà.” Finally, an ironic Roman reinterpretation of the American singer-songwriter **Woody Guthrie’s** “This Land Is Your Land” transformed into “E' la mia Roma.” Naturally, there will also be reinterpretations of Gabriella Ferri’s most beloved songs.
