Today, GHOST announced their largest world tour ever, with over 55 shows in North America, Europe, the UK, and Latin America next year. The Swedish theatrical rock icons, Grammy winners, will traverse the globe from the opening night on April 15 at the AO Arena in Manchester, UK, to the finale on September 24 at the Sports Palace in Mexico City, MX, headlining many of the world's top arenas, including the band's first-ever performance at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York on July 22.
This concert will be a phone-free experience. The use of mobile phones, cameras, or recording devices will not be allowed in the performance space.
Upon arrival at the venue, all phones will be securely placed in Yondr pouches, which will be unlocked at the end of the event. GHOST
With nearly 10 billion streams, GHOST, the Grammy-winning Swedish band for theatrical rock and a global phenomenon, continues to bring their "euphoric show" (ROLLING STONE) of live performances to ever-growing crowds, recently with the triumphant RE-IMPERATOUR U.S.A. 2023 from last year, which visited more than two dozen North American cities before concluding with a two-night finale at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. In March 2022, the LOS ANGELES TIMES reported in a cover story that GHOST had "conquered metal and the charts" when their fifth album IMPERA debuted at number one on the U.S. album chart, entering the BILLBOARD 200 at number two and reaching number one in their native Sweden, Germany, and Finland, while also cracking the top 5 in another half-dozen countries. With “Spillways” - described as “a sweetly constructed rock melody” by THE NEW YORK TIMES and later reimagined with Joe Elliott of Def Leppard - and “Call Me Little Sunshine,” nominated for a GRAMMY, GHOST's fifth number one on Active Rock radio, IMPERA made ROLLING STONE note: “GHOST predicted the pandemic, now the metal band is predicting the downfall of empires.” The album presented GHOST’s most current topic to date, against a darkly melodic backdrop, making IMPERA unlike anything else but unmistakably, quintessentially GHOST. After closing 2022 by entering the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time with the RIAA platinum-certified track “Mary on a Cross,” and after winning IMPERA as Favorite Rock Album at the American Music Awards and Best Rock Album of the Year at the iHeart Radio Music Awards, GHOST released PHANTOMIME, an EP of five cover songs, including a rendition of Iron Maiden's “Phantom of the Opera” that earned the band their fifth GRAMMY nomination. More recently, GHOST’s seemingly limitless ambition took the band to the big screen with the theatrical release of the feature film RITE HERE RITE NOW in June 2024. Exciting the LOS ANGELES TIMES who wrote: “When it comes to live performances, they are among the best in the business - and now they have the film to prove it,” RITE HERE RITE NOW quickly became the highest-grossing hard rock cinema event in North American history and spawned a chart-topping soundtrack album. From devoted disciples to curious newcomers, RITE HERE RITE NOW saw audiences worldwide turn off their phones and be fully immersed, enraptured by this captivating yet intimate cinematic portrait of GHOST.
