**Saturday, November 9, 2024, the Playclub in Milan will host the Notte di San Martino, an event for all Apulians in the North open to anyone who loves our Apulia.**
The event is organized by the Salento US Association and also promoted by the Apulians in Milan Association, confirming its role as an unmissable appointment for Milanese citizens and anyone wishing to experience an evening of culture and conviviality. In an era where there is an effort to recover traditions and the "Apulia" brand, the Notte di San Martino is presented as a vivid example of how history can unite different generations.
The stage will be brought to life by Alla Bua, a legendary group that has been a guardian of our region's musical traditions for over 30 years. Their music, full of captivating sounds, promises to energize the evening, leading participants on a fascinating journey through Italian folklore.
The objective is precisely to cultivate, enhance, and spread knowledge of the Apulian territory, a melting pot of traditions and ancestral customs, the land of baroque, of the taranta that bites and poisons, of dance and music that liberate from this poisonous bite, of new wine and ancient olive trees. Additionally, the evening will also be enlivened by the talented DJ Pia, one of the best-known DJs in Salento, who will conclude the evening with her musical selections, bringing the rhythm and energy typical of Salento parties. The artistic director, Gianni Orlandi, boasts over 20 years of experience in creating and promoting Edutainment events in Italy and abroad.
His expertise will ensure an evening full of surprises and special guests, making every moment unforgettable. Moreover, this year the event benefits from a partnership with Pagine Pizzica Online, an initiative that testifies to the commitment to promoting Apulian culture and traditions through high-quality events. The Notte di San Martino represents a unique opportunity to rediscover the pleasure of conviviality, savoring a glass of wine and being carried away by the melodious sound of the tambourine, a symbol of a tradition that continues to live on.
The event will start at 7 PM with a tasting of typical Apulian products, following a trend already popular in today's fashionable Milan, that of the aperitif. We will give all Apulian bistros present in and around Milan the opportunity to showcase their cooking skills with show cooking, and to Apulian wineries the chance to showcase the excellent qualities of their wines.
