Golosaria, the leading fair for high-quality Italian artisanal food and wine, is reaching its twenty-first edition and preparing to chart new directions for the sector. Building on twenty years of scouting and promoting local areas, the event will return for the third consecutive year to the prestigious Fiera Milano Rho venue, from Saturday, October 31 to Monday, November 2, 2026. This year, however, there will be an important logistical change: the event will move to Pavilion 8, a new space for the fair, chosen to offer a renewed exhibition layout and improved accessibility for exhibitors and visitors.
This year’s guiding theme is summed up in the title: **“The Taste of Creating Tomorrow.”** At once a declaration of intent and a plan of action, the title emphasizes the responsibility and energy needed to build the future of the sector. At the heart of the discussions and exhibition areas will be generational renewal, the transfer of expertise from master craftspeople to young talents, the digital innovation of businesses, and sustainability—no longer seen merely as a trend, but as a fundamental requirement for the very survival of local supply chains. Many young people, both in the food sector and in the wine area, will also make their debut at Golosaria, which is regarded as an incubator of innovation and creativity.
Within the new exhibition layout, visitors will be guided in discovering producers from the historic main areas—Agorà, Food, Wine, and Street Kitchens—but they will also find special sections dedicated to families, agri-food startups, and wine tourism in its various forms. The full program of the more than 50 events planned—including award ceremonies, show cooking demonstrations, and wine-focused masterclasses—as well as participation details, is available on the official website, golosaria.it.
The opening of the event on Saturday, October 31, will showcase the three regions that, together with Lombardy, have chosen Golosaria to present their outstanding products: Calabria, Liguria, and Sicily, which will bring Mediterraria Expo to Milan. This will be followed by the opening talk show, in which philosopher Massimo Donà will engage in conversation with Paolo Massobrio about the wine, grain, and beer supply chains and the people who bring them to life. Those protagonists will then join many others on stage for the awards, beginning with the 2026 Golosario Champions. The event will conclude with a reflection on “the taste of creating tomorrow,” according to master pastry chef Iginio Massari and his son Nicola.
Meanwhile, the stands of the superb producers of delicious specialties, the show-cooking demonstrations, and the street kitchens will be open to welcome the public. The same will apply to the Wine area, with its masterclass space and selection of producers, which can be accessed with a separate admission ticket. In the main area, however, the Golosaria wine shop will offer 150 Top labels to mark the 25th edition of Top Hundred, Marco Gatti and Paolo Massobrio’s selection of the best wines in Italy. They will take the stage on Sunday morning, alongside the 12 best wine-tourism experiences, according to the *IlGolosario Wine Tour* guide.
Sunday afternoon will be dedicated to Italy’s best specialty food shops, as well as to a discussion on hospitality. Federico Menetto will present contemporary pizzaioli with the dialogue from the collective book *Dear Guest*. Monday will be the great day of Italian restaurants, honored with the crowns and radiant smile icons awarded by the *IlGolosario Ristoranti* guide.
Among Golosaria’s highlights is the Little Gourmets area, featuring Rudy’s workshops and his delicious creations; the Butternut Box stand, which will explore the theme of good taste for four-legged friends; and the clowns hired by Comieco to encourage proper separate waste collection. A unique opportunity will be the chance to have a photo taken with the **“Trofeo Senza Fine”** (“Endless Trophy”), the original and iconic prize awarded to the winner of the Giro d’Italia. It will be on display at the Lauretana stand. Lauretana, the lightest water in Europe, will accompany the event throughout all three days with a variety of activities.
