Racconti D'autore

The Cultural Association "Sartoria Degli Artisti" is pleased to present the project "Racconti d’Autore", an initiative created within the framework of the program of municipal events and celebrations Borgo D’Estate 2024. The event, with the patronage and contribution of the City of Conversano - Department of Culture, the free patronage of Puglia Sounds and Distretto Puglia Creativa, and the collaboration of Radio Emmedue and Casa Musicale Luisi, will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2024, starting at 8:00 pm, in the charming setting of Villa Garibaldi.

"Racconti d’autore" has its roots in the program "Artisti in Sartoria", created by Amanda Benini and Silvio Perta. Since 2020, this project tells the stories of local artists, highlighting their artistic paths, their private lives, dreams, passions, and emotions that drive them.

The interviews of "Artisti in Sartoria" have come to life inside a real tailor shop, a symbolic place where ideas, projects, and dreams take concrete form. This setting inspired the name of the program, evoking the image of a creative workshop where every artist can express their uniqueness.

"Racconti d’autore" continues this tradition, bringing the stories of artists to a new and engaging context, with the aim of making the cultural richness of our territory known to the public through the voices of those who have made creativity their way of life.

The meeting will feature musical performances interspersed with interviews with the artists, creating an intimate and reflective dialogue that will explore the cultural roots and personal stories of the musicians involved.

The singer-songwriters who will be the protagonists of the evening are Molla and Magadan.

Molla, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist producer, started his solo career in 2012; with three albums to his name and numerous awards, including the "Premio inediTO 2024" for the song section with the unreleased track "Sandy Marton", Molla is an exceptional performer who has opened concerts for major Italian artists such as Brunori Sas, Afterhours, and Tiromancino.

Magadan, a young singer-songwriter from Conversano, began his musical career exploring various genres, from rap to pop, blues, rock, and funk. He participated in the XFactor 2021 auditions receiving the approval of Manuel Agnelli. He recently signed a distribution contract with ADA Music Italy and released the EP "Mare tra le luci".

The artistic direction and hosting of the evening will be curated by Amanda Benini. Special guest of the evening will be Bianca Chiriatti, music journalist for the “Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno”.
