The theatrical performance written, adapted and directed by Giancarlo Luce, inspired by the novel of the same name by British author Bernardine Evaristo, is the result of the 2023/2024 adult theater workshop "Lègami", held at the Teatro delle Forche in Massafra, in collaboration with actresses Erika Grillo and Chiara Petillo.
It features two female protagonists in comparison, two stories told with the language of words but also of the body...unfolding daily events linked to different experiences but both characterized by the desire to assert oneself.
The performance is divided into two parts and results in a kaleidoscopic show,
a journey into the female world between social difficulties and a desire to change established clichés, breaking away from stereotypes to establish new balances.
The event, organized by the CULTURAL ASSOCIATION CARLO SCHIAVONE in collaboration with the TEATRO delle FORCHE, with PRO LOCO MOTTOLA and with Frescheria LÌXLÌ, media partner AZZURRA TV ITALIA, is sponsored by the City of Mottola, Department of Culture, and is part of the summer events in Mottola.
