Quarta edizione di "Birre al Castello"

From Friday 16th to Sunday 18th August (from 7:00 pm | entrance 5 euros with a bag and screen-printed glass), the Flying Castle of Corigliano d'Otranto hosts the fourth edition of "Beers at the Castle".

Conceived and organized by the Bluebeat Pub of Lecce, in collaboration with CoolClub, the event offers three evenings of music, meetings, activities for children, tastings, guided tours, a market, quality street food, and the participation of around twenty breweries from Puglia and Italy with over a hundred craft beers to taste thanks to around sixty taps spread throughout the moat and terraces of the ancient manor of the Salento municipality. The breweries present at the counters will be Bastian Contrario from Parma, Birranova from Triggianello (Bari), Cantaloop from Cantalupo del Sannio (Isernia), Birrificio del Vulture from Rionero (Potenza), Extraomnes from Marnate (Varese), MC77 from Serrapetrona (Macerata), Officine Birrai from Lecce, Okorei from Naples, Vetra from Caronno Petrusella (Va), Wild racoon from Udine. Curated by the Taranto beer shop Tabir, there will also be a selection of breweries from Puglia and Basilicata. This year, there will be a stand entirely dedicated to beers from Belgium, featuring both classic and modern interpretations of more and less known styles. The Bluebeat Corner will offer a selection of beloved producers. In the three evenings, an increasingly large and rich food area will give the opportunity to enjoy hamburgers and pulled pork, bombettes, meatballs, parmesan dishes, chips, fried foods, and much more. At "Nuvole" terraces, the cocktail bar and bistro of the Flying Castle, you can enjoy the proposals of Andrea Mazzola and Diletta Bagordo, sipping a drink carefully chosen from the list by Michele Contini. THE PROGRAM
The program of events scattered throughout the Flying Castle is varied and interesting. On Friday, August 16th, starting at 7:00 pm on the terrace, there will be a vinyl DJ set by Lounge Lizard. At 8:00 pm in the mezzanine space, there will be "Mister distratto", a juggling and magic show for children of all ages, while from the atrium, "The story of the Castle, the stories of beer" will start, a special guided tour with a tasting by "Sulle vie della birra" and "Infopoint Corigliano". Starting at 10:00 pm in the mezzanine, the dance hall will begin with Kooloometoo Sound and many guests. On Saturday, August 17th at 8:00 pm, the guided tour "The story of the Castle, the stories of beer" will return. At 8:30 pm on the terrace, there will be the meeting "Meet the brewers" to discuss with the master brewers about the past, present, and future of craft beer in Italy. From 10:00 pm onwards, the music will start in the mezzanine with the DJ sets by Francesco Fisotti (afro, funk, and italo disco) and Dubin (reggae, dub, jungle, drum'n'bass). On Sunday, August 18th, starting at 7:30 pm in the mezzanine, there will be music with The Covellas, at 8:30 pm the third guided tour "The story of the Castle, the stories of beer". From 9:00 pm, the terrace will host medieval music and tavern songs from the '500s with La Jacquerie. From 11:00 pm in the mezzanine, the Sebach Dj Set will propose the grand finale with the president of the International Rebel Trash.
