Thursday, September 19 at 9:00 pm, at Riva del Sole Hotel (SS16, km 787+225, Giovinazzo), "In the Blue Summer Festival" presents, for its fifth and final appointment, "Atmos-Sfere", the new project by Stefania Dipierro with Alex Milella and Viz Maurogiovanni.
The festival, produced and promoted by FPM - Puglia Foundation for Music, under the Artistic Direction of Antonio Pisani and in partnership with Riva del Sole Hotel, thus concludes its first summer festival with a new project, featuring the intense voice of Stefania Dipierro, accompanied by two virtuosos of string instruments, Alex Milella on guitar and Viz Maurogiovanni on electric bass.
"The first edition of 'In the Blue Summer Festival' was a real success for us. - says the president of FPM, Costantino Mastrorilli - We managed to bring hundreds of spectators to our events, receiving huge appreciation for the artistic quality offered. Many of those who purchased the subscription for the entire festival and returned after participating in our winter festival 'Woman in Jazz'. A sign that FPM is on the right path to bring together and highlight the talents of Puglia and beyond. Soon we will present the program of initiatives for the 2024/2025 season, which will be even richer in initiatives."
Crossing the boundaries of musical genres, the trio "Atmos-Sfere" moves between tradition and contemporaneity, with incursions into Italian, Brazilian, soul-jazz, pop-rock repertoires. The atmosphere of the concert is like that of an expanded horizon, embraced by a thread of soft and insistent sounds, growing, to ignite and reignite emotions, to reflect and then move. A mix of original songs - from Dipierro's albums, like the track "Senza Chiedere" written on the words of the poet and localist Franco Arminio - and tributes to those authors and composers who have marked musical eras with songs that are manifestos of love and deep and light existential reflections. From The Clash to Patti Smith, with "Should I Stay or Should I Go" and "Because the Night", to Milton Nascimento's "Encontros e Despedidas", Chico Buarque's "O que Sera", Fossati, Jefferson Airplane with "White Rabbit" the anthem of the peaceful Woodstock festival of 69, "Calling You", "Cheek to Cheek", Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus", Nina Simone's "Feeling Good", and Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "The Power of Love".
