Bitonto in festa. "La Chiazz Chaverte", tra sapori, tradizione e spettacolo

Piazza XX Settembre comes back to life fully, after the redevelopment, with the event "La Chiazz? Ch?verte" (The Covered Square), the neighborhood festival organized by the Municipality of Bitonto in collaboration with ProLoco, which will animate the former central market of the city on Friday, September 20th starting from 7 pm. A special opportunity to immerse yourself in the local tradition, taste typical products and experience an evening full of entertainment for all ages.

The food and wine stands will offer the best of Apulian flavors: from the unmistakable extra-virgin olive oil to the artisanal taralli of the Tarallificio "La Fenice" from Palo del Colle. Street food lovers won't be able to resist the sandwich with mortadella and provolone, the version with pistachio cream, the capocollo with stracciatella with sun-dried tomatoes (by Caseificio "Zona Bianca") or the classic rice, potatoes and mussels of the restaurant "Pietrantica". For those who prefer stronger flavors, the butcher shop "Leuci" will offer a succulent roast beef sandwich, while the Bitonto tradition will be honored with focaccia and fried panzerotti, prepared with passion by "Fragrante Cotto with Amore". There will also be sweet crepes from "Crepami" and specialties from the bakery "Di Leo" of Altamura, including jams, legumes, pasta and typical focaccia.

In addition to food, "La Chiazz? Ch?verte" will offer an entertainment program full of surprises. The "Chiquitín Circus" will bring circus artists and attractions that will leave the audience in awe, while the little ones can have fun with the spectacular trampoline act by Niky Gianky.

At 9 pm, the musical show will come to life with the performance of "Tiramisù Live Band". The band, composed of Cosimo Lenoci and Luisa Pinto on vocals, Enzo Gianfreda on guitar, Mimmo De Bartolomeo on piano and keyboards, Antonio Colonna on drums and Tommaso Putignano on bass, will provide two hours of non-stop music with the great classics of the 80s and 90s, in an exciting live show entirely performed live. A perfect opportunity to sing and dance together.

To allow the event to take place, via Matteotti, from the intersection with Piazza Aldo Moro to via De Ildaris, will be closed to traffic.

"La Chiazz? Ch?verte" represents an unmissable opportunity to rediscover the warmth of the community and the flavors of tradition, spending an evening full of good food, fun, and culture. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, September 20th.
