Angela's life is as absurd and incomprehensible as that of each one of us. When she was young, many dreams and passions made her heart beat, but the strict tracks of family and society led her to a situation that feels like a bitter lump stuck in her throat, going neither up nor down. Suddenly, a wave disrupts her life. In a whirlwind outside of the world and space, where she finds herself spinning together with Montfort, who comes from another nation and another century, and all they have in common is not knowing how they ended up there. And so their journey begins, wave after wave they will be thrown to experience the adventures of women and men who instead had the courage to embrace the sea and life as a single, astonishing wonder. And if in the world there is a giant squid, then there is no longer a dream that is unattainable, a battle that cannot be faced, an impossible love.
