Strappo alla Regola - Gli Ipocriti Melina Balsamo

We are in a cinema and on the screen they are projecting a horror film. Orietta, a secondary character in the film, is about to be reached by a mysterious killer, but unexpectedly manages to escape him... by coming out of a tear in the screen. She finds herself in the empty movie theater where she meets Moira, the cinema mask. Moira thinks she is going crazy, but she must change her mind because Orietta is alive and asks for help. Fearing to lose her job, Moira tries to convince Orietta to return to the film to be killed. But Orietta is determined to change her fate. While the characters in the film wander aimlessly on the screen, Moira confides: she is a desperate woman, living in a toxic relationship from which she cannot escape. Now it is Orietta who encourages Moira to find the "rip" to escape from a horror story. And in the end she will be the one to save her. With an innovative interaction between Theater and Cinema, with comedy at a fast pace, Edoardo Erba's new play keeps us suspended in a world halfway between reality and fantasy, and goes straight to the heart, lightly crossing our worst nightmares.
