The Teatro Area Nord, headquarters of Teatri Associati di Napoli, is located in Naples in the district of Piscinola. It is a true production workshop, the place where the show was born and grew. A non-conventional staging that sees a single actor interacting with seven puppets created by the set designer Tiziano Fario, author of the entire scenography, and animated by a group of puppeteers specially assembled for the project and coordinated by Irene Vecchia through a training workshop open to young people in the area, held with the support of the Campania dei Festival Foundation as part of the "Quartieri di Vita" 2020 festival. The show, faithful to Eduardo's text, evokes the events of the Cupiello family, opening a glimpse into the imaginary and memory of each spectator. A dream that comes to life through figure theater in which the actor Luca Saccoia immerses himself, emerging as "Tommasino" who, after saying the fateful "yes" to his father, relives and makes us relive that "Christmas" that has accompanied us for 90 years.
