The Teatro Area Nord, the headquarters of Teatri Associati di Napoli, is located in the Piscinola neighborhood of Naples. It is a real production workshop, the place where the show was born and grew. An unconventional staging that sees a single actor interacting with seven puppets created by the set designer Tiziano Fario, author of the entire set design and animated by a group of puppeteers specially assembled for the project and coordinated by Irene Vecchia through a training workshop open to young people in the area, held with the support of the Campania dei Festival Foundation as part of the "Quartieri di Vita" 2020 festival. The show, faithful to Eduardo's text, evokes the events of the Cupiello family, opening a glimpse into the imagination and memory of every viewer. A dream that comes to life through puppet theater in which the actor Luca Saccoia immerses himself, emerging as "Tommasino" who, after saying the fateful "yes" to his father, relives and makes us relive that "Christmas" that has accompanied us for 90 years.
