**To learn more:** Away from the turmoil and crisis that the Second World War is bringing to Europe, in a New Orleans always ready for glitter and sequins, two cousins, CHICCA (Francesca Montanaro) and GRETA (Greta Corrente), have an unusual appointment with destiny: both young women discover they are heirs to the Clò Palace Hotel, which, with its club, represented one of the most luxurious and sought-after circles and meeting places for the American entrepreneurial upper class in the 1920s.
While the two girls savor the allure of the extraordinary inheritance they received and, at the same time, feel strongly aware of the moral value it represents for them, the narrative of the past comes to life like a flashback, at the moment when the Hotel enters a phase of decline that seems inexorable but which offers a backdrop to events and characters that, in some way, confirm its unusual history. Leading among them are the proprietors of the establishment: MRS. SALLY CLO' (Sabrina Palmisano), an intelligent woman with undeniable managerial skills, and MR. HOLDEN CLO' (Fabio Tamburrano), an attentive and diligent husband who has great trust in his wife's choices.
Almost one with the Clò Palace, for many years of honorable service, are TIFFANY (Francesca Basile) and GERARD (Cristin Nardelli): she, an artist and great entertainer, manages the club for the owners; he, in charge of service and guest care. Both have hired MISS. FIZZ (Arianna Semeraro) and MR. CLEAN (Paolo Colucci) to maintain order and cleanliness.
But not only lights: unfortunately, shadows also descend on the scene. Less idyllic personalities are MR. CARL (Paolo Decuia) and MRS. ELIDE FLY (Alysia Maggi), a couple engaged in pursuing wealth, and one SHEYLA BRYANT (Miriana Lacarbonara), mother of two children, MARGOT (Sofia Palmisano) and DANNY MINE (Nicola Neglia), whose identity, revealed in an almost adventurous situation, will give a significant turning point to the story.
A very particular role belongs to MAMA FLORIS DUNKAN (Sara Fumarola), who is accompanied in the story by MR. EDWARD (Angelo Semeraro), a gentle soul but not without an important revelation awaiting him.
The interweaving of thoughts, actions, choices, and ambitions of the characters, in an atmosphere sometimes pervaded by light-heartedness and easy laughter, allows the audience to reflect on some essential values of life. Where the desire for luxury and opulence seems to prevail, one finds, at the conclusion of the narrative, what is truly worth pursuing in one's existence: loyalty, respect, love, authenticity...
