On Saturday, November 9th, at 6:30 PM, at L’Eccezione – Culture and Entertainment of Puglia Teatro, in Bari, on Via Indipendenza 75, for the 50th artistic season of Puglia Teatro and the 23rd of L’Eccezione, with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and under the artistic direction of Rino Bizzarro, winner of the “Franco Enriquez” award, the inauguration of a new series of performance-appointments: "In Music, Change – Examples of Alternative Listening," curated by Enzo Granella.
The first meeting is dedicated to Stefania Ladisa, who graduated in violin from the “N. Piccinni” Conservatory in Bari, later earning the qualification as a "Musician with applied IT skills" and specializing in Jazz Music, Improvisation, and New Musical Languages. She is part of an improvisers' collective at the Jazz Academy of Siena and records and performs with musicians mainly from the London scene.
She published "New Destinations for Radical Improvisation – From Introspection to Interaction," an essay that emerges, besides being the mature culmination of an artistic journey, as a metaphor for human relationships inspired by respecting one's own and others' freedom and nonviolence. Structured radical improvisation overturns stereotypes, rejects egocentrism, embraces the unexpected, and opens to encounters with poetry, cinema, and theater.
