**Putignano, November 23 and 24: San Martino Returns – Every Must Becomes Wine**

*Two days of gastronomy, wine, music, and fun for all ages in the alleys of the historic center.*

Putignano is getting ready to host the third edition of **San Martino – Every Must Becomes Wine**, on **Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24, 2024**. On Saturday evening and Sunday, at lunch and dinner, **wine, gastronomy, music, and entertainment** will transform the historic center of the Carnival city into a wine village.
For the first time over two days, San Martino is organized this year by the newly formed Social Promotion Association "Onde Culturali", which has revised the project from previous editions, spreading San Martino into the heart of the city. The highlight will undoubtedly be the fine **wines from Apulian wineries**. With seven wine distribution stations, indeed, walking through the streets of the ancient village, it will be possible to taste products from the north to the south of our region. From the Antonio Pisante and Teanum wineries, passing through the Itria Valley with TerreCarsiche and Miali, arriving to the south with the Varvaglione and Schola Sarmenti wineries. The seasonal fruit will not be missing: the good novello wine from the historic Colavecchio wineries in Putignano.

In addition to wine, **chestnuts**, an essential fruit of the autumn season, together with **typical products**, will warm up the cold November nights alongside wine and good **Apulian music** that, with multiple stations scattered throughout the ancient village, will cater to all tastes.
San Martino also becomes a place for all ages thanks to the contribution of the **Kids Area** offered by Vuemme Consulting, where children can have fun jumping on large inflatables. A **creative workshop** will also be reserved for them in collaboration with "Officina dei Saperi APS".

Women harvesters will be the focus in the **photo exhibition** created with works by photographer Dino Frittoli and curated by Erika Lastovskyte in the splendid cloister of the Putignano Municipal Library. With a photo shoot kindly provided by “Produttori di Manduria” and the “Never Before Italia” agency, the organization pays tribute to the women working in agriculture, giving them a place of honor on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. On Sunday, November 24, it will be the women farmers themselves who will speak during a **round table** on the theme "Women and Agriculture" organized in collaboration with the COPAGRI Territorial League.

In Putignano, on November 23 and 24, it will be a great celebration of wines, gastronomy, and fun for all ages. For a third edition of San Martino to live fully, accompanied by the event’s mascot, “**Cippo**”.

San Martino 2024 – Every Must Becomes Wine is organized by Onde Culturali APS in collaboration with the City of Putignano, with the patronage of the President of the Regional Council of Puglia granted by act no. 902 on 11/05/2024, the Putignano Carnival Foundation, and with the support of Woom Italia.
