*From a young age, supported by her talent, she approached music by first participating in Bravo Bravissimo and then in Domenica In. In October 2006, she joined the program Amici di Maria De Filippi. She placed third and won the critics' award, unanimously awarded by the entire technical jury, who regarded her as the most interesting new voice in the Italian music scene. Her powerful and meaningful voice embodies and expresses the colors of jazz, soul, blues, and even gospel. Despite her young age, Karima already has a long and varied artistic experience, including the Sanremo Festival in 2009 and especially her collaboration with Burt Bacharach, who produced her. She is the only Italian singer for whom the "Maestro" has written songs and with whom she recorded her first album titled "Karima" in Los Angeles. She has opened concerts for Whitney Houston and John Legend, participated in Tale e Quale Show and I migliori Anni on Rai 1.

A beloved artist in China, where she toured for two consecutive years with the “Close to You” project, she was the first to sing at the prestigious Beijing Opera House, a sacred temple of classical music. Loved by musicians, she has collaborated with Dado Moroni, Riccardo Fioravanti, and Stefano Bagnoli.

In December 2022, she released the album "Xmas": a journey back in time through those songs that have touched people's hearts, evoking the magic of Christmas.*
