BIOECONOMIA E TERRITORI: oltre la crescita

On December 6, 2024, at 6:30 PM, the book presentation of Bioeconomy and Territories: Beyond Growth. Analysis, Case Studies, Experiences and Territorial Practices, edited by Margherita Ciervo, will be held at the “Tommaso Fiore” Municipal Library in Cisternino.

The volume, published by Società dei Territorialisti Edizioni, is promoted by the OIB, Interdisciplinary Observatory on Bioeconomy, and the journal “Economia e Ambiente”, sponsored by the UNESCO Chair “Economic Systems and Human Rights” at the University of La Plata (Argentina), and realized with the support of the University of Foggia. It represents an in-depth exploration of the work from the 2022 Conference held at the Italian Geographical Society.

The event will feature the participation of the author herself, Associate Professor of Economic-Political Geography at the University of Foggia, who will engage in conversation with Dr. Massimo Blonda, biologist and former CNR researcher.

Institutional greetings are expected from Piermassimo Chirulli, Councilor for Digital and Energy Transition, Environment, Public Works, and Innovation at the Municipality of Cisternino.

The evening is an opportunity to reflect on the dynamics of bioeconomy and its relationship with territories, exploring new perspectives for sustainable development.
