Presentazione del libro "Gocce d’azzurro" di Rita Corciulo

The House of Artists in Gallipoli, always a promoter of art and culture, presents a new event that will take place on January 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Permanent Gallery of Giorgio De Cesario.

It is the presentation of the debut work by Rita Corciulo titled "Gocce d’azzurro" ("Drops of Blue"), a collection of poems curated by Storiedilibri of Pasquale Cavalera.

This event is presented in conjunction with the alienist exhibition “Peace and Love - Mediterranean Encounters” that will be held at the same permanent gallery from December 21, 2024, to January 11, 2025. Rita Corciulo was born in Gallipoli and is a kindergarten teacher. Believing that poetry is the voice of the soul, she makes her literary debut with this poetic collection featuring the sea and the profound emotions it evokes in those who never tire of watching its continuous motion.

Anna Pia Merico, the author of the preface, indeed states: “Like light brush strokes, Rita’s verses capture and freeze the moment, the nostalgia, the sentiment, highlighting the most delicate and at the same time intimate shades. The predominant color is blue, which by itself evokes calmness, intimacy, spirituality and is found in the verses celebrating the magnificence of the sky and the depth of the sea.”

During the evening, Rita Corciulo will converse with writer Maurizio Marzo, and the young Emanuele Zollino will entertain the audience with his musical interludes.
