Non ci facciamo riconoscere

**Saturday, February 1st at 9:00 PM** at the Mercadante Theatre in Altamura, **Marco Falaguasta** presents "Non ci facciamo riconoscere," co-written by Marco Falaguasta and Alessandro Mancini, as the guest of honor at the 21st Bombetta d'Oro Festival. Organized by Enza Felice and Francesca Zaino, with production coordination by Federica Corino, and produced by Nicola Canonico for Good Mood.

The exact meaning of this phrase that parents of the 70s, 80s, and 90s deemed suitable for all situations where children needed to be reminded to behave differently remains a mystery! However, this phrase still echoes in the ears of those who, like me, were born or grew up in those years. The years of turmoil, the years of the divorce law, the abortion law, the Moro kidnapping, but also the economic boom, and Italy winning the World Cup in Spain. The years of the Panda 30 with the window rolled down and the car radio playing Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, and "Boys" by the unstoppable Sabrina Salerno that everyone agreed on.
Years to which my generation always looks back with nostalgia. Sure, we were young and carefree, but are we really sure that not standing out was an advantage or, in some circumstances, could we have raised our voices and made ourselves known? Let's try to answer this question together by reflecting on who we were, to see what we've become, as we asked questions to older cousins, more modern uncles, and didn't have Alexa or Google.
How do we explain all of this to our children, to whom we can no longer say, "certain practices will make you go blind"?
