Soft, enticing, delicious, lovable, and gentle: these are the qualities and characteristics of sweet wines, which have always been a worthy conclusion to any meal and celebration.

The 18th edition of Dolce Puglia 2025 is dedicated to their millennial history and the chromatic, olfactory, and gustatory charm of these oenological excellences. Organized by the Italian Sommelier Association | Murgia Delegation, the event celebrates the importance of regional sweet wines by exploring their various pairing suggestions with pastries, chocolate, and cheeses. It is precisely the surprising versatility of these wines that serves as a point of reflection during the conference and the tastings on the program, revealing how grand dessert wines, delicate sparkling wines, and superb meditation wines can harmoniously blend with different flavors to create intriguing organoleptic fusions, even throughout a meal.

Over these 18 years, Dolce Puglia has become an oenological challenge aimed at environmental sustainability and the revival of production techniques and territorial traditions. It is also a healthy competition among companies reintroducing wines made from indigenous grape varieties like moscato and wild moscato, aleatico, and primitivo, as well as rarer cultivars undergoing interesting recovery efforts.

For this reason, on March 1, 2025, starting from 7:30 PM at D’Aragona Eventi in Conversano, this unique event in the national landscape will reopen, featuring research, publications, and presentations by expert speakers, leading to numerous tasting tables.

Among the tasting stations will be all sweet wines, dessert wines, and sparkling sweet wines produced in Puglia.

Dolce Puglia also embraces the many realities of wines from the same category and also liqueurs produced in Central, Southern, and the Islands with recognition of 4 or 3 vines by the 2025 Vitae Guide by AIS. Over 20 national labels will join the sweet wines of Puglia.

AIS Murgia cherishes all activities and creations of Div.Ergo from Santeramo in Colle. This non-profit association and creative workshop is managed by young people with different abilities. A testament to creativity, they will exhibit their creations again this year.

TASTING EVENT AT 7:30 PM

A celebration of sweetness and enveloping flavors will welcome Dolce Puglia guests starting at 7:30 PM, when the traditional ribbon-cutting will kick off an evening of pure sensory ecstasy.

More than 100 labels of sweet wines, dessert wines, and sparkling sweet wines from Puglia and the rest of Italy will be the stars of a journey in taste, to be experienced through surprising and irresistible pairings. From golden nectars to velvety reds, each glass will be an invitation to discover the art of perfect balance between sweetness, acidity, and intense aromas.

Accompanying this extraordinary selection will be a buffet of genuine delights: refined artisan pastries, chocolate in all its forms, aged cheeses with enveloping flavors, golden honey from beehives, and even specially created ice creams to enhance the aromatic intensity of the wines. All enriched by a thematic first course, crafted by the chefs of D’Aragona Eventi, demonstrating how sweet wines can take center stage even throughout a meal. It's an unmissable experience for gourmets and lovers of genuine emotions, made even more special by the presence of master pastry chefs, cheesemakers, and producers, ready to share the story and soul of their creations.
