The agricultural product processing cooperative **Terra Maiorum of Corato**, in collaboration with **pizzica.me - APS**, is pleased to invite you, on **Saturday, March 29, 2025**, to the “**Festival of Almond Trees in Bloom**.”

The initiative aims to promote and publicize the products of the cooperative, which has been active for 150 years and today has more than 800 members among olive, almond, and cereal growers. The beginning of spring is colored by the delicate blossoms of the almond trees in the Alta Murgia, bringing joy and vitality.

The occasion is perfect for some dancing. Of course, with a **Popular Music Concert**!

Guests for the evening, directly from the heart of **Salento**, is the ensemble “**Viaggio Popolare**,” composed of four of the most beloved performers of the current **Puglian Popular Music** scene: **pizzica pizzica**, folk songs, work chants, and entertaining Scottish tunes. Everyone can dance and listen in the company of friends with a glass of wine and typical products to enjoy.

And after the concert, a **pizzica pizzica circle dance**! Bring your drums, castanets, and your desire to dance and sing!

Therefore, for **Saturday, March 29, 2025**, don't make other commitments. It begins at **8:30 PM** at the cooperative headquarters **TERRA MAIORUM at Via Castel del Monte 184 70033 Corato (BA).**

The "**Viaggio Popolare**" is a Salentine popular music project that was founded in 2019 from the meeting of two Salentine artists: Davide Donno and Giuseppe Anglano. From the start, the essence of the project has been to retrace through a musical journey the simple and authentic execution of some traditional pieces that the two artists held dear. Following this guiding thread, the repertoire of the popular journey encompasses love songs, work and protest songs in the "stisa" style, as well as riveting pizziche pizziche starting from deep Salento up to reaching the tarantellas of the Brindisi, Taranto, and Gargano areas and Calabria.
Currently, "Viaggio Popolare" is composed of 4 members: **Davide Donno** (frame drums and voice), **Giuseppe Anglano** (accordions and voices), **Ippazio Rizzello** (classical and battente guitar and voice), and **Luigi Marra** (mandolin, violin, and voice).
