"Open Theater" is an initiative designed to make theater truly accessible to everyone. Through a selection of performances at reduced and popular prices, we want to offer everyone the chance to experience the thrill of the stage. The initiative is dedicated both to the loyal audience that regularly attends theater and to those who wish to discover it for the first time, breaking down economic barriers and making culture a shared asset.

At the roots of the people of Bari through a long and meticulous research. Forty years of interviews and testimonies transformed into a hilarious and engaging Recital-Show in programming since 1990 with over 1600 performances.

Born from the author's enterprising youthful inquiry into the traces of popular traditions and the songs of our land, this 'Songbook' of villanelles, serenades, stornelli, and ancient nursery rhymes celebrates the suffering and joy of the Apulian people, symbolized by the famous Bari recipe. Among the ingredients of this rediscovery, in which the roots of our culture lie, is the living voice of the people, which through Vito Signorile's voice evokes countryside landscapes and sea stories, hopes and illusions of peasants and sailors sung in the old way and thus still intact in spirit between lyricism and anger. A show that is now beyond 1600 performances but continues to be requested and anticipated, by those who have not yet 'tasted' it and by those who wish to enjoy it again as one does with their favorite dish.
