Passione Vivente 2025
In April, the representation of the Passion of Christ returns to Locorotondo. We have reached the 3rd edition thanks to the collaboration between the San Giorgio Martire parish and Pro Loco Locorotondo and the amateur theater group "Metti amore" which originated within the association I Briganti. The third edition will take place on the steps of the Mother Church on Holy Monday, April 14, building upon the very positive aspects experienced last year: both in terms of the set design and the presence of the musical band.

The main moments of this event, which give substance to the Christian faith, will not be missing. In this journey, made up of men and women of faith, it will be the free choice of the human being that determines History. It will be a journey in which Hope is the protagonist of the choices made by men and women. Among the various characters will appear John the Baptist, Herod, Herodias and Salome, Pilate and his wife Claudia Procula. Particular emphasis will be given to women: for Jesus, women are an essential element of life. In the Living Passion of Locorotondo, there will be many, all narrated by the Gospels.
