A fundamental role in this resurgence has been played by Record Store Day, an event that started in the United States in 2007 and has reached its fourteenth edition in Italy, supported by over 240 independent record stores. More than just a commemorative day, Record Store Day has refocused attention on the unique experience of purchasing and listening to vinyl music in these cultural spaces, creating a bridge between past and future.
