**SYNOPSIS -** A Teacher But Not Too Much. A Journey in Search of a Professional Identity: the special needs teacher by Raffaella Leone, published by Secop Edizioni in 2024.
This book is an essay but not too much. It's an autobiography but not too much. It's a collection of stories but not too much. It's too much! But also a bit less than too much. It doesn't have precise rules, it leaves room and margins for error, for interpretation. It's repetitive because that's how teachers are—they never tire of repeating. It's not perfect and couldn't be. It leans a bit to one side, like some slow days, a little distracted, a bit sleepy. It changes mood and perspective because every path can be a conquest. You will love reading it, or perhaps not too much. But it's an attempt, a small first aid. If you don't like it, say so around, but... not too much.
The book offers an original and ironic perspective on the role of the special needs teacher, exploring with lightness and depth the challenges and reflections related to professional identity in the school context.
