At Insolita Comune, we have always indulged our passion for art. Since the beginning of the project, which took off in 2023, we have made room for sculpture, painting, literature, and various forms of creativity. Of the three floors we occupy, “Sutta” is decidedly meant to blend with the art forms it hosts: 4 steps down to access the cool and silence of the large urban vintage-style space, with ancient vaults of limestone, stone, and iron, creating an intimate and reflective atmosphere.

In Mantova, the Arrivabene 2 Art Gallery has a permanent location, driven by the desire to open up to dialogue with different contexts, it arrived in Nardò, identifying in Sutta the ideal space to create a small compendium of its exhibit narration, where objects will be placed with the same logic and thought process, presenting a collection of selected authors. A container that will allow the public and images to confront each other again, generating new points of view and new relationships.

That's how it is. On Saturday, April 19, 2025, the inaugural exhibition of the Arrivabene 2 Gallery within Sutta comes to life as a "collective of authors" aiming to activate multiple levels of interpretation in a sort of inclusive poetic leitmotif. Recent works by Alice Padovani, Almudena Pintado, Bahar Heidarzade, Roberto Ciroli, Massimo Levati, and Francesco Levi will be presented alongside furniture items and ancient tribal artifacts. On one hand, the inevitable uniqueness that characterizes each artistic pursuit is highlighted; on the other, it suggests a meeting point between the different artists involved: the analysis of reality, the study of a technique, the delicate work of archiving, and collecting testimonies.

“Sutta” at via G.B de Michele 11 will open its doors on Saturday, April 19, 2025. In April and May, the space will be open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 12:30 and 16:00–20:00 / Friday and Saturday at night from 21:00–23:00. The Spazio Arrivabene2 Gallery in Mantova.
In 2018, Luca Sguaitzer – a collector of ancient tribal textiles, Silvia Antonioli – an interior designer, Federica Bottoli – a photographer, and Simone Spiritelli – an architect, brought to life a project translated into a personal aesthetic imagination within an ancient palace in the heart of Mantova. The SpazioArrivabene2 gallery was born from the need to create a physical space where Contemporary Art, Craftsmanship, and Design interact, in order to explore and define the boundaries that separate these expressive realities, so different yet so similar. Not just a container of objects, but a real atmosphere driven by visual stimuli. The city palace turns into a living room, a recreational courtyard, a gym where novel curatorial formats are defined, or simply where new aesthetic visions are asserted. Its programming follows an exhibition logic accompanied by interventions of a different nature, where music, social gatherings, or performative interventions blend with the narration of the exhibited works. The curatorial part for Spazio Arrivabene2 has always been inclined toward a purely emotional choice in selecting artists and artisans to delineate a personal and coherent stylistic mark, disregarding art market trends.
