I Caboose are a group formed in 2018 by two musicians from Benevento, united by their passion for a particular type of blues, hill-country, whose modal form and obsessive rhythm highlight its distinctly African component.

The duo, composed of Luigi De Cicco (guitar, vocals) and Carlo Corso (drums), thus offers music that is more of an approach than a genre - tested by over a hundred concerts across Europe and the United States, which allowed them to perfect a sound ranging from psych-rock to jazz, to soul.

The choice of musical genres should not be misleading: while remaining indebted to certain styles, the duo stays true to a sonic nomadism constantly teetering between tribute and contamination, which is also reflected in their lyrics, centered on the figure of the foreigner and the traveler.

Following the self-titled CD "Caboose" (2018) and "Hinterland Blues" (2019), 2022 will see the release of their third album for the Roman label BLOOS records (The Cyborgs, Corey Harris).

During their tours, they have opened for artists like Watermelon Slim, Robert Kimbrough Jr., Eric Bibb, Francesco Piu, Shanna Waterstown; their tracks have been broadcasted on Radio 3, Radio città Futura, Radio Eins.
