Nascita Associazione Oltre la Memoria

**The Association “Beyond Memory – The Invisible Victims” is Founded in Trani**

*On July 24, an online foundational meeting between culture, rights, and collective memory*

On July 24, 2025, with an online meeting expected to be intense and well-attended, the cultural association **“Beyond Memory – The Invisible Victims”** will be officially founded. This new Italian entity aims to gather, value, and restore dignity to the forgotten voices of history: victims of wars, deportations, invisible violence, silent abuse, but also witnesses of resilience, spirituality, poetry, and rebirth.

The association will be an integral part of the national network **“Orizzonte Comune”** and will be based in the city of **Trani**, with a worldwide perspective and a deeply civic, educational, and intercultural mission.

Among the founders and key figures of the project are:
📌 writer and activist **Renzo Samaritani** (President),
📌 musician and cultural technician **Massimiliano Deliso** (Vice President),
📌 journalist and poet **Carmelina Rotundo**,
📌 author and women’s rights activist **Stefania De Toma**,
📌 performer and civil artist **Saviana Terrafino**,
📌 and theater promoter **Marco Pilone**, founder of Teatro Mimesis in Trani (*unless otherwise preferred*).

The main goals of the association include:

* creating educational projects and testimonials for schools;
* publishing texts and memorial collections;
* organizing artistic and spiritual events dedicated to the theme of forgotten memory;
* supporting fragile and invisible voices, with particular attention to women, the elderly, and voiceless victims.

The first official event will indeed be the **foundational online meeting on July 24**, which will conclude with a symbolic and convivial act: a **“virtual pizza party”**, to remember that memory can also be warmth, sharing, joy, and presence.
