CORTOCIRCUITI - Short Film Festival 2025

After months of passionate work… we're finally here! The most electric short film festival of the summer returns! 6 evenings, 52 selected shorts, two open-air locations, themed screenings, special juries (including children!) and a flood of emotions on the big screen!

From July 21 to 25 @ Arena expostModerno Via Napoli, 264 Bari
Doors open at 20:30 Screening begins at 21:00

Sunday 20/07 – Shorts with Environmental Themes
The opening night of the festival will focus on shorts with environmental themes and will be organized at the Giardino Mimmo Bucci in collaboration with Fridays for Future Bari and Climate Justice Now!

Monday 21/07 – Short Documentaries
The second evening will be dedicated to documentary cinema (student and professional categories).

Tuesday 22/07 – Animated Shorts
The third evening of the festival will focus on animated shorts (student and professional categories).

Wednesday 23/07 – Animated Shorts for Children
The fourth evening of the festival is dedicated to children aged 3 to 10, with a selection of short films for the little ones. The children present will be part of a special jury!

Thursday 24/07 – Shorts by Puglian Students and Live Action Shorts
The fifth evening of the festival will be dedicated to screening Live Action shorts (student and professional categories) and Puglian Students' shorts.

Friday 25/07 – Non-Competitive Shorts and Awards
The final evening of the festival will be dedicated to screening Non-Competitive shorts and all the awards for the various categories.

CONTRIBUTIONS
For the event at Giardino Mimmo Bucci, entry is free, but for all other evenings at expostModerno, we always suggest a minimum contribution of 3 euros to enhance our/your cinema experience further.

MEMBERSHIP CARD BENEFITS
To attend events at Arena expostModerno, you must subscribe to the special FIC - Italian Cineforum Federation Card, costing 5 euros, which provides a range of benefits and discounts:
- Cinema Splendor Reduced ticket price at 4.5 euros from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays;
- 5% discounts at Spine Bookstore, Libreria 101, Libreria Campus, Svoltastorie, Neverland, and Prinza Zaum, among other establishments;
- 10% off drinks at Prinz Zaum;
- At Mago della Pizza - Pizza of your choice 5 euros (for takeout) - Pizza of your choice + drink + service 8 euros (for dining in);
