From July 18 to 24, 2025, the prestigious Church of the Holy Spirit in Ostuni will host "Essences of the Soul," a collective exhibition celebrating the creativity and uniqueness of six Italian artists. This event promises to be an extraordinary visual experience, bringing together distinctive styles and techniques to create an explosion of colors that reflect the emotional richness of each artist.
The main figures of this exhibition are Daniela Bellanova, Davide Chionna, Cosimo Di Dio, Vitantonio Malvaso, Piero Palmisano, and Arcangela Valente. Each of them brings their own artistic universe to the exhibition, creating a stimulating dialogue between different forms of expression.
Daniela Bellanova stands out for her painting technique, characterized by a material and emotional approach. Her art is a sensory journey where she uses her hands, fingers, and spatula to convey feelings of serenity through a skillful use of color. Her works, which fluctuate between blurred and bright tones, highlight her affinity with the post-impressionist school while maintaining a drive toward innovation. For her, painting is a continuous flow, a "Panta rei" that pushes her to explore new artistic horizons.
Davide Chionna, an artist known by the stage name David Davidesign, represents an interesting synthesis of sculpture, painting, and design. His paintings, true "containers of light," play with strong and soft tones, transforming each brushstroke into a pure emotional moment. His luminous creations offer suggestions that embrace both Light Art and abstractionism, revealing the depth of his aesthetic research.
Cosimo Di Dio presents a creative journey that unleashes an intense chromatic timbre. His works, characterized by intersecting shapes, tell fanciful visions free from rigid standards, inviting the viewer to explore a world of unlimited imagination. His personal approach resonates with vibrant expressive freedom, making each work unique and engaging.
Vitantonio Malvaso, with his impressionist style, draws inspiration from the beauty of the Apulian landscapes. The ancient olive trees, red lands, and Mediterranean atmospheres are recurring subjects in his paintings, depicted with chromatic sensitivity and special attention to light that enriches each scene.
Piero Palmisano combines realism and fantasy, creating figures crystallized in an unreal time. His narrative approach offers a snapshot of reality filtered through a personal interpretation, capable of evoking deep emotions.
Finally, Arcangela Valente focuses on landscapes, seeking serenity in silent villages and natural glimpses. Her works are an invitation to stop, observe, and rediscover the hidden beauty of everyday life, characterized by the innovative use of materials like sand and glue that give texture and depth to the surfaces.
"Essences of the Soul" is not just an exhibition but a journey through the emotions and experiences of the artists, an unmissable opportunity for all lovers of art and beauty. We look forward to sharing this wonderful journey with you!
