In the luminous setting of the Villa Comunale of Cisternino, amidst the voices of books and the scents of summer, the "Summer in Villa" series hosts an event that promises emotions, flavors, and music: on Thursday, July 17 at 7:30 PM, the book "An Opera Chef" by Innocente Galluzzi will be presented.

A personal, ironic, yet moving narrative where the author revisits his experiences both in the kitchen and on stage, navigating through recipes, opera arias, and moments of lived life. Galluzzi takes us on a journey where cuisine meets music, and where the flavor of memory blends with the notes of the heart.

The author will chat with musician Angelo Semeraro, in an encounter that intertwines words and sound suggestions, evoking the deep connection between food, culture, and identity. Following the presentation, the author will perform a cooking show preparing "affogaparrini alla Norma" inspired by the famous opera, with a final tasting for all participants.

The event is organized by ERF Edizioni in collaboration with the "Tommaso Fiore" Municipal Library, as part of the "Civil Literature Festival 2025," a series that aims to be a space for listening, reflection, and beauty.
