📖*Anatomy and Rhythm of the Body - the Consciousness of the Mother Tongue and the Body of the Actor*
Outcome of the workshop conducted by Giuseppe Zingaro Tarantino and Maria Ilenia Di Simone of the company La Gilda Teatrale SCONZAJUOCU

A route that plows through the waves of that sea of ink signed: S. T. Coleridge. We will set sail through the study of the original text: The Rime of the Ancient Mariner; comparing it with the more well-known Italian translation; to arrive at our own vivid version, using the mother tongue, (the dialect of one's roots). Once the translation of the text into the language is obtained, our cargo is ready, and our ship is ready to sail through the storm. We will work on the consciousness of the actor on stage, and the group will become a crew. The coordinates we will follow are those of rhythm and sound, the breath of the text, and the body that becomes word, to remain lucidly lost, in the depths of the here and now. We will be ghosts among the docks. Like the wind on the sails, we will be bodies that vibrate on stage.

As is customary, after nourishing the soul, our members can also nourish the body and quench their thoughts, with poetic dishes seasoned with rhyming vegetables, masterfully prepared by our actress/poet Renza Luxemburg and washed down with a fresh pink nectar, all local...🍷🧆 So, all that's left is to book your place, to spend a splendid evening of theater, dance, good food, and good wine together!
