With the autumn solstice, the events of the Pro Loco Locorotondo kick off with the showcase of wines from native grape varieties and the gnummeredd suffuchet festival on September 20 and 21, 2025.

This weekend also marks the start of the white grape harvest, which is hoped to yield excellent wine like the one we'll be able to taste at the displays set up in the town's public garden. The culinary offerings are rich, including among other things, gnummeredd suffuchet, sandwiches with braised meat and meatballs in sauce, and focaccia filled with mortadella and provolone.

As with every edition, this one is strongly supported by the Municipal Administration-Agriculture Department, with the valuable collaboration of IISS "Basile Caramia-Gigante", CRSFA "Basile Caramia", ITS Foundation for Agri-food, and with the valuable contribution of BCC Locorotondo.

The event program is rich. Both Saturday and Sunday, preferably with reservation at cell. 340 3680245, will offer a free guided tasting of wine and grapes by CRSFA and IISS "Basile Caramia - Gigante" at 6:30 PM.

On Saturday, September 20, the evening's entertainment will kick off at 8:00 PM with the magic of the members of the Taranto Magic Club, followed by musicians from Calendagruppo performing the Salento pizzica at Locorotondo, on the churchyard of Addolorata.

On Sunday, September 21, after the guided tasting, the evening will be brightened by the magic of the piano and violin duo of "50 Minutes of Silence".
