The "Saverio Mercadante” Concert Series is entering its peak as it reaches its 21st edition this year.

On Tuesday, September 23rd, with doors opening at 7:30 PM and the event starting at 8:00 PM at the Torre Teatro Mu.Ra. (Via Kennedy) in Noci, the concert titled “International Talents” will be held. It will feature a performance by the young Korean clarinetist Sang-Jin Park accompanied by Russian pianist Yulia Moseychuk.

The concert in Noci will be the first stop in a tour sponsored by NuovoImaie and organized by AMA Calabria. The clarinetist earned this opportunity as the winner of the 20th International Clarinet Competition “Saverio Mercadante”. For the first time in twenty editions, the local audience will have the extraordinary opportunity to hear the winner of the latest competition perform in concert, an opportunity the organizers are particularly proud of. Those who followed the competition in past years will remember pianist Yulia Moseychuk, who accompanies all candidates on the piano during their auditions. The evening promises to be of great artistic quality, featuring a program with music by Rabaud, Saint-Saëns, Debussy, and Brahms.

The Concert Series includes four events in total, with two additional ones in November and one in December, all requiring an entrance fee. A single entry costs €5.00, while the subscription to all four concerts is €15.00. No more than 90 subscriptions can be sold. All subscribers will receive a complimentary bottle of wine from the "VignaFlora" winery, owned by our fellow citizen Flora Saponari.
