**Flavors, Monsters, and Impressions on Halloween Nights**
October 30th and 31st, 2025 – City Center - Putignano (BA)

Borgo Stregato, now in its eleventh edition, returns on time with the well-established double appointment. On Thursday, October 30th and Friday, October 31st, the center of the Carnival city will once again be populated by witches, vampires, zombies, and ghosts in a labyrinth of eerie atmospheres.

This year the event takes on a different scenario than usual: in Putignano, you're in for a "split" event—haunted by possessed zombies in the narrow streets of the historic center, wrapped in an enchanted atmosphere, while outside the village gates, a response will be teeming from those who have left the historic center to organize themselves in islands of flavor with food to 'die' for, to be tasted along an itinerary seasoned with papier-mâché artifacts and decorations made from recycled materials. All accompanied by artists, DJs, and ramshackle musicians.

This is all due to a real uprising triggered by actors, extras, and street performers who probably thanks to a secret agreement, have managed to conquer the ancient center and push the culinary artifice and sounds of all kinds out of the village walls. In light of this story, the usual invitation is renewed more emphatically: don't come to Putignano! To the brave who do not intend to give up, it is advised to disguise their identity and get lost between the historic center and the islands outside the walls.

Young visitors can instead immerse themselves in two experiences dedicated to them at the Municipal Library curated by the Association Lavori dal Basso APS and the local Universal Civil Service.
Thursday, October 30th, "Trick Moment" in the cloister of the Library (corso V. Emanuele, 56) starting at 7:00 PM – free entry;
Friday, October 31st, "Enchanted Readings" at Sala Bia (corso V. Emanuele, 67) from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Mandatory reservation at socialbiblio@comune.putignano.ba.it – free entry.

Borgo Stregato is a unique event in Apulia, accessible to all to be experienced with the complicity of the atmosphere staged by various subjects, including artists, musicians, and extras, ready to welcome the public in a pleasantly unusual fashion characterized by socio-environmental sustainability.

The event is organized by the cultural association "Trullando" with the patronage of the City of Putignano and the Putignano Carnival Foundation, and with the support of Dolce Bontà (main partner), Amaro Mediterraneo, Faniuolo light emotion, Roger & Melicos, Pane & Co, Frescolatte, Cino Giovanni Legna, and Resina Color.
