The “Luigi Capotorti” Association is pleased to invite the public to a concert dedicated to Gabriel Fauré and his most intense and spiritual work: the *Requiem in D minor, op. 48, presented in the version for soloists, choir, piano, and orchestra.*

Composed between 1887 and 1890, Fauré's Requiem is one of the most beloved pieces of the sacred repertoire from the late nineteenth century, a masterpiece of balance and brightness, far from the dramatic tones of the romantic tradition. Fauré expresses a sentiment of peace, consolation, and hope, offering a serene vision of death as "happy liberation and aspiration to eternal bliss."

An event of profound musical and spiritual intensity, to celebrate the timeless beauty of Fauré’s music and the artistic commitment of the Capotorti Music Festival, which has now become a cultural reference point for the region.
