VAN GOGH, La Musica dei Colori

An exciting journey through music, words, and images, inspired by the life and troubled soul of Vincent Van Gogh. Writer and narrator Gino Saladini, along with the Marco Guidolotti Jazz Quartet, takes the audience into the world of the great Dutch painter, where sound, color, and emotion merge into a single expressive dimension.

Through original music by Marco Guidolotti and Felice Tazzini, along with pieces from the early 20th-century jazz repertoire, the performance revisits the most intense moments of Van Gogh's life, transforming each painting into sound and each note into a brushstroke. The images of his works, animated by captivating multimedia effects, interact with the music and the narrating voice in an immersive and multisensory experience.

Gino Saladini, a forensic doctor, criminologist, and writer, is the author of successful novels and essays, including "Hypnos" (Sonzogno, 2019), "L’uccisore" (Rizzoli, 2015), and "Roma Giungla" (Marsilio, 2020). As a commentator for Rai, Mediaset, and Sky, he brings to life with his voice the depth and fragility of the Dutch genius.

Marco Guidolotti, winner of the Massimo Urbani International Award, is among the most acclaimed saxophonists in the Italian music scene. He has collaborated with Ennio Morricone, Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, Dee Dee Bridgewater and, since 2015, has been the solo saxophonist for Il Volo. He has performed at major international festivals and recorded for labels such as Philology, Egea, and Tosky Records.
